Welcome to The Fredericton Community Kitchen!
The primary function of the Community Kitchen is to provide well-balanced, nutritional meals to the less fortunate. In 2009 we served approximately 100,000 meals on-site and provided food for many meals prepared in homes in the area.

Donate to the Kitchen Online!
The Fredericton Community Kitchen is now accepting donations online through the Canada Helps donations service. Just go to our donations page (here is the link:

and click the blue "Donate Now through CanadaHelps.org" icon on the left of the screen or the "Canada Helps" logo in the centre of the screen and you will be directly connected with the Community Kitchen's donation page. Please note that you can donate with your credit card through this site. We encourage everyone to make use of this convenient new service.
Events:
a) Our “ANNUAL MAIL OUT CAMPAIGN” has been a great success. In mid November, we sent letters out to homes in the Greater Fredericton region asking for support for the day to day operations of the Kitchen. The response from our community has been tremendous. Nice going
b) We are continuing our campaign to raise funds with the sale of the “KITCHEN APRON”. We are looking for individuals and local businesses to make a $15 donation to the Kitchen and they will be given a very nice looking apron to give to a relative, friend, employee or customer or if they wish we will give one to someone on their behalf. It not only is a tax deducible donation but the apron makes for a nice gift! Keep an eye out for them around town or if you would like one, just call George at the Kitchen.
c) The annual “KEEP THE CHANGE” fund raising effort sponsored by Fox Radio, among others, will be held during the winter holiday season at the Regent Mall. Private businesses around town will be encouraged to set up their own “donation jars” which representatives from each company will gather and deposit at the official drop site. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Kitchen.
